Who is Rebecca Jackson

Rebecca Jackson is a clinically trained facilitator, teacher, consultant, and coach, with a proven track record of driving racial and organizational equity in diverse organizations. Her approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to inclusion.

  • Love

    As reflected in the name LoveSeed, love is the foundation of Rebecca's work. Inspired by the teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr.,  Bryan Stevenson, bell hooks, and Dr. Cornel West, she believes that love is a transformative force and the antidote to many of the challenges organizations face. She knows that for many passion-driven organizations, love and care for others is at the heart of what they do, whether that’s love for the communities they serve, their work, or their mission. Rebecca aims to bring that same ethos of love to her work as a facilitator, embodying this love through inclusive, liberatory planning and design, centering relationships and bringing the group back to this central tenant when it matters the most. When grounded in a love for humanity, the work of the facilitator and the participants creates a supportive and purposeful environment where incredible transformations can occur.

  • Trust

    As a facilitator, Rebecca actively builds trust both between herself and the group, and among the group members. She does this by establishing a foundation of authenticity and clarity from the outset, ensuring participants understand their roles and the expectations in the space. She creates space for meaningful check-ins at the outset, fostering trust and deepening connections between participants. She also builds trust through humility, acknowledging when she makes mistakes, and consistently welcoming feedback from participants. In doing so, she serves as both a guide and as a model for the participants.


  • Inclusion

    As a facilitator, Rebecca prioritizes creating inclusive, trauma-informed spaces where all participants feel safe, valued, and heard. She achieves this by attuning to the diverse identities and experiences present in the group, ensuring that the voices of the most marginalized participants are heard and valued. Rebecca is also mindful of addressing various learning styles, needs, and power dynamics within the group. By setting clear expectations, communicating goals, and providing a safe and structured space for open dialogue, she creates a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can relax, be present, and engage authentically in meaningful conversations.

  • Joy

    Rebecca believes that even the most serious topics can benefit from a touch of humor. She incorporates laughter, humor, and storytelling into her facilitation style, creating a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience. One of her previous students shared that they’d “never laughed so much in a class before.” Rebecca believes that humor can help to lighten the mood, reduce stress, and create a more inclusive and supportive environment, especially when dealing with difficult or sensitive subjects. She believes that we have an obligation to reclaim the joy that oppressive systems try to steal from us, and brings that wisdom into her work.
